Rotational loss separation in grain-oriented Fe–Si

Journal of Applied Physics, 2000
Rotational and alternating magnetic losses have been investigated in high permeability grain-oriented laminations as a function of frequency (2.5 Hz⩽f⩽150 Hz) and peak magnetization (0.15 T⩽Ip⩽1.7 T). The results have been analyzed according to the concept of loss separation.

Iron loss of grain size controlled very thin grain-oriented silicon steels

IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1993
Very thin (less than 100 mu m) grain-oriented silicon steels are known to have lower iron loss than iron-based amorphous materials. It is possible to reduce the iron loss of very thin grain-oriented silicon steels further by applying new magnetic domain refining techniques. One method for magnetic domain refining is to control the grain size.

LOSSES OF WHEAT GRAINS AT COMBINE HARVESTING

1998
The investogation found out that losses at combine of both types at all working speeds do not exceed permetted losses limits except B type combine at v3 speed. Optimal speeds for A type combine are between 2,5-4,0 km h-1 and for B type combine between 3,0-5,0 km h-1.
