Towards the development of upgrade criteria for the treatment of hidradenitis suppurativa with biologics
Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Volume 40, Issue 4, Page 658-669, April 2026.Forty‐three HS specialists from 22 European countries reported adherence to HS guidelines and use of antibiotics before biologics despite limited efficacy and rapid relapse (49% within 1–3 months). Seventy‐nine per cent supported short‐term biologics for severe Hurley I disease.Georgios Nikolakis, Erkan Alpsoy, Monika Arenbergerova, Falk G. Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Volume 88, Issue 2, Page 375-396, April 2026.ABSTRACT
This paper presents evidence to support the compatriot win effect as a behavioural bias in lottery demand. We exploit the quasi‐random assignment of the jackpot prize across provinces in the Christmas draw of the Spanish National Lottery to examine whether lottery sales increase in jackpot‐winning provinces in subsequent draws.David Boto‐García, Álvaro Muñiz‐Fernández, Levi Pérez +2 morewiley +1 more sourceStereospecific Assembly of Triply Chiral Pseudopeptidic Cages Through Dynamic Dual Chirality Transfer
Angewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 11, 9 March 2026.The spontaneous assembly of triply chiral (L, Δ, P or D, Λ, M) cages has been achieved from a simple tripodal chiral effector based on phenylalanine tris(amidoamine), non‐chiral bipyridine dialdehyde, and a metal ion. Orthogonal imine bond and iron (II) coordination generate a single combination of chiral elements, while configurationally stable ...Tushar D. ChemMedChem, Volume 21, Issue 5, 13 March 2026.This study explores the development of dual‐acting compounds combining σ1R agonists and histone deacetylase inhibitors (HDACi). Key findings include compound 2d and 3a's high affinity for σ1R and favorable pharmacokinetic profile and an in vivo determined σ1R agonist profile by reversing the effect of the σ1R antagonist BD‐1063.Antonino N.
