Notable Impact of Paleotectonic Stress on Gold Mineralisation in the West Qinling Orogen
By applying fuzzy clustering and multiple inverse methods, we systematically processed the data of vein and fault slip in this ore deposit to reveal the transition of orogenic geological environment and paleotectonic stress field. Our research results show two different stress states: the northwest–southeast extensional stress field and the northeast ...

Rare metal granites in the structures of the Russian sector of Pacific ore belt
Data are presented on the geology of areas of rare metal granites proliferation in the Russian sector of the Pacific Ore Belt that make one take a fresh look at the East Asian granitoid area to update its metallogeny. History is reviewed of studying rare

Rare Metal Granites and Pegmatites
International audienceRare-metal granites and pegmatites are highly evolved rocks that form in a wide range of different tectonic settings. Ore element associations may vary widely, depending on source rocks, conditions of source rock melting, extent of ...

Integrated petrographic, mineralogical and geochemical data from the Hastanetepe Pb–Zn deposit (Balya, Türkiye) reveal multi‐stage hydrothermal alteration and a magmatic sulphur source. Fluid inclusion and sulphur isotope results indicate a complex fluid evolution responsible for skarn‐type Pb–Zn mineralization along limestone–dacite contacts ...

The composition of intrusive rocks suggests that the magma was likely generated in a subduction‐related setting. The arc crustal thickness in the Phnom Sro Ngam and Halo Prospects was probably < 40 km during emplacement. Zircon U–Pb age range indicates a correlation with Loei Fold Belt magmatic activity.

Early zircon saturation and crystallisation occur in mafic (52–54 wt.% SiO2) lavas at Tengchong volcanic field. These early formed zircons with high δ18O (6.6‰–7.9‰) indicates mantle enrichment by subducted supracrustal materials. ABSTRACT Late Pleistocene (< 0.2 Ma) mafic and evolved volcanic rocks occur in northern Tengchong Volcanic Field, SE ...
