Dike transport of granitoid magmas
Geology, 1993Thermal and fluid-dynamical analyses suggest that for viscosities and density contrasts spanning the range considered typical for many calc-alkalic granitoids, dike ascent is a viable mechanism for the transport of large volumes of granitoid melt through the continental crust.

Abstract Many studies have shown systematic correlations between the composition of plutons worldwide and the metal content of associated skarns. This is the first report of similar correlations between the composition of Celebi granitoid and skarns of the Celebi district in Central Anatolia, Turkey.

Abstract The Bullfinch-Parker Dome area is an Archaean granitoid-greenstone terrain in the Yilgarn Block of Western Australia affected by a complex, protracted tectonic event. The majority of the deformation history was progressive rather than multiple discrete events.

Single-shelled orbicular granitoids from the Manpur area, Karwi district, Uttar Pradesh are being reported for the first time. However, this is the second report of orbicular granitoid from the Bundelkhand Granitoid Complex and dissimilar to the earlier report (Pati and Mamgain, 1996) from the Rauli Kalyanpur area, Banda district (now in Karwi district)

Petrogenesis of the Tasmanian granitoids
2023This study of Tasman Orogenic Zone granitoid rocks in Tasmania is mainly concerned with the petrogenesis of a suited of garnet and cordierite-bearing, aluminous granites. These granites and the associated hornblende-biotite granodiorites are contact aureole plutons of Devonian age, emplaced in paratectonically deformed Palaeozoic rocks.

The Granitoid Series and Mineralization
1981Abstract Granitoids can be classified into either a magnetite-bearing magnetite series or a magnetite-free ilmenite series, a classification also applicable to their effusive equivalents. Magnetite series granitoids are associated with major sulfide mineralization, whereas ilmenite series granitoids are related to cassiterite and ...

Beitrag zur Geochemie sterreichischer Granitoide
Tschermaks Mineralogische und Petrographische Mitteilungen, 1965Es wurden 122 Proben granitoider Gesteine, die grostenteils aus dem Bereiche der Alpen und der sudlichen Bohmischen Masse stammen, mit Hilfe instrumenteller Methoden auf die Elemente Be, Ca, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Ga, K, Li, Ni, Pb, Rb, Sc, Sn, Sr, Ti, Tl, V, Y, Zn und Zr analysiert. Dabei fanden die Emissionsspektral-analyse und die Rontgenfluoreszenzanalyse

Exoplanets, Granitoids and Evolutionary Potential
2018As we have seen, granite is ubiquitous on terrestrial bodies in the solar system. Its volume relates to two factors: the persistence of volcanism and the presence of water. The more water there is available in the mantle, the greater the occurrence of partial melting; the longer the lower crust remains hot, the more likely it will be that bodies of ...
