Thermal Metamorphism around the Ballachulish Granodiorite [PDF]

open access: yesNature, 1934
FROM recent studies of the metamorphic rocks lying within the aureole of the Ballachulish granodiorite, it has appeared that there are present there most of the types of hornfelses listed in Goldschmidt's classification. Derived from these are also silica-poor types in which corundum and spinel are common.

Pétrographie et géochimie de la granodiorite de La Fourque (gisement de scheelite de Salau, Pyrénées, France)

open access: yes, 1987
Magmatic intrusion of the Salau granodiorite can be dated relative to regional folding by means of geological, stratigraphic and structural criteria ; petrological and geochemical studies give evidence for a multistage intrusion with successive magmas ...

Gold occurrences in the Kolmozero-Voronya Archean greenstone belt, Kola region: Geological, mineralogical, geochronological and isotope-geochemical characteristics

open access: yesЛитосфера, 2015
A multidisciplinary study of the Oleninskoe and Nyalm-1 gold occurrences located in the Kolmozero-Voronya greenstone belt (Kola region) has been carried out. These gold occurrences are interpreted as orogenic and connected with a complex of gabbrodiorite-

Zircon U-Pb geochronology and emplacement history of intrusive rocks in the Ardestan section, central Iran

open access: yesGeologica Acta, 2017
The Urumieh-Dokhtar Magmatic Arc (UDMA) is part of the Alpine–Himalayan orogenic belt and interpreted to be a subduction-related Andean-type magmatic arc. Along this belt, Eocene volcanics and some gabbroic to granitic bodies crop out.

Petrology and mineralogy of the Fenghuanshan granodiorite, Anhui Province, China: implications for petrogenesis and metallogenesis implication [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The Fenghuangshan copper deposit, in the Tongling area of Anhui Province, China, is genetically associated with the Fenghuangshan granodiorite, which contains amphiboles that can be used to determine the pressure and temperature history of the magmas ...
