Single Cell Sequencing Identifies Distinct Cellular Alterations in Impaired Aged and Diabetic Wounds

Single‐cell RNA sequencing revealed distinct fibroblast dynamics in aged and diabetic wounds. Aged mice showed reduced matrix‐producing myofibroblasts and increased inflammatory fibroblasts, while diabetic mice exhibited elevated lytic enzyme expression.
