Work‐Related Asthma From Exposure to Cardboard and Paper Products

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Industrial Medicine, Volume 69, Issue 6, Page 482-488, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Background We assess the contribution of cardboard dust exposure to the development of work‐related asthma (WRA). Molecular Characterization and Antifungal Profiling of Nine Phenotypic Aspergillus nidulans Isolates: A Case Series From North India

open access: yesMicrobiologyOpen, Volume 15, Issue 3, June 2026.
In a case series from a hospital in North India, A. nidulans strains isolated from patients with pulmonary aspergillosis were phenotypically identified and then underwent molecular characterization through sequencing of the amplified ITS1‐5.8S rDNA‐ITS2 region and antifungal susceptibility testing (AST) according to the CLSI M38A3 guidelines.

Bridging Rare to Common Diseases: Precision Medicine and the Transforming Landscape of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology

open access: yesPediatric Allergy and Immunology, Volume 37, Issue 6, June 2026.
This graphical abstract illustrates the conceptual framework linking rare and common diseases in pediatric allergy and immunology through precision medicine. On the left, rare conditions such as inborn errors of immunity and primary atopic disorders represent well‐defined monogenic models that reveal fundamental mechanisms of immune dysregulation.

Why, Immunologically, Housing‐Related Fungi and Endotoxins (and Other Chronic Pro‐Inflammatory Stressors) Risk Latent Tuberculosis Reactivation, Severe Asthma, and Translocating and Invasive Infections in Indigenous Communities in Canada

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Human Biology, Volume 38, Issue 4, April 2026.
