Workflow for Design of Experiments‐Based Modeling of Species Transport and Growth Kinetics in GaN Hydride Vapor Phase Epitaxy

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A novel workflow for investigating hydride vapor phase epitaxy for GaN bulk crystal growth is proposed. It combines Design of experiments (DoE) with physical simulations of mass transport and crystal growth kinetics, serving as an intermediate step between DoE and experiments.

An Experimental High‐Throughput Approach for the Screening of Hard Magnet Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
An entire workflow for the high‐throughput characterization and analysis of compositionally graded magnetic films is presented. Characterization protocols, data management tools and data analysis approaches are illustrated with test case Sm(Fe, V)12 based films.

Grain Refinement During Severe Plastic Deformation and Similitude of Subgrain Formation: A Molecular Dynamics Study

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Molecular dynamics is used to investigate structure refinement during severe plastic deformation. The results show similitude with experimental data. Molecular dynamics simulations of severe plastic deformation of monocrystalline and polycrystalline samples by multiaxial compression of aluminum are carried out.

TOPICS IN GRAPH FALL-COLORING

open access: yes, 2016
Graph fall-coloring, also known as idomatic partitioning or independent domatic partitioning of graphs, was formally introduced by Dunbar, Hedetniemi, Hedetniemi, Jacobs, Knisely, Laskar, and Rall in 2000 [1] as a simple extension of graph coloring and ...

All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Graph coloring using eigenvalue decomposition

open access: yes, 2007
Spectral techniques have been applied to come up with efficient solutions to combinatorial problems like graph partitioning, min-cut, coloring. We are investigating further the applications of spectral techniques to graph coloring, a well-known NP ...

Speckle‐Engineered Upconversion Amplification in Nanoemulsion‐Templated Hydrogel Microdomes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Nanoemulsion‐confined PEGDA microdomes generate speckle‐like excitation fields that strongly amplify upconversion luminescence upon dehydration, enabling filter‐free visible readout with reversible on–off switching. DMD‐based lithography yields scalable, shape‐programmable arrays for moisture‐responsive displays and optical encryption.

TOTAL COLORING OF CENTRAL GRAPH OF STAR GRAPH [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Total coloring of a graph given color the vertices and edge of a graph in such a way that no two adjacent vertices are assigned with the same color, no two adjacent edges are assigned with the same color and no edge and vertices are assigned with the ...
