Continuous colourings of closed graphs
The main theorem of the paper says that whenever \(f\) is a fixed-point-free continuous map of a 0-dimensional \(\sigma\)-compact Hausdorff space into itself, then there exist disjoint clopen subsets \(U_0\), \(U_1\), \(U_2\) of \(X\) such that \(U_0 \cup U_1 \cup U_2 = X\) and \(f(U_i) \cap U_i = \emptyset\) for every \(i < 3\).

A Workflow to Accelerate Microstructure‐Sensitive Fatigue Life Predictions
This study introduces a workflow to accelerate predictions of microstructure‐sensitive fatigue life. Results from frameworks with varying levels of simplification are benchmarked against published reference results. The analysis reveals a trade‐off between accuracy and model complexity, offering researchers a practical guide for selecting the optimal ...

PBTTT‐OR‐R, a C14‐alkoxy/alkyl‐PBTTT polymer derivative, is of substantial interest for optoelectronics due to its specific fullerene intercalation behavior and enhanced charge‐transfer absorption. Comparing this polymer with (S) and without (O) homocoupling defects reveals that PBTTT‐OR‐R(O) forms stable co‐crystals with PC61BM, while PBTTT‐OR‐R(S ...

This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

HKUST‐1/TiO2 composite materials show a very high photocatalytic hydrogen evolution rate which increases as a function of the irradiation time until reaching a plateau and even surpasses the performance of the 1%Pt/TiO2 material after three photocatalytic cycles.
