Designing Graph Databases With GRAPHED
Journal of Database Management, 2019In recent years, graph database systems have become very popular and been deployed mainly in situations where the relationship between data is significant, such as in social networks. Although they do not require a particular schema design, a data model contributes to their consistency.

We have investigated using graphs as the foundation for database systems by developing a graph-based DBMS. We have demonstrated that: 1. Graph-based representations are useful for representing genome data. 2. A graph data model tailored to the requirements of genome data can be used as the basis of a database management system. 3.

Graph data is an emerging model for representing a variety of database contexts ranging from object-oriented databases to hypertext data. Also many of the recursive queries that arise in relational databases are, in practice, graph traversals. In this paper we present a language for searching graph-like databases.

Graph Matching in Graph-Oriented Databases
2021Modern graph database management systems use graph structures for semantic queries with nodes, edges, and properties to connect to and store information. Due to their schema-less nature, inappropriate data migration and manipulation can lead to severe data loss during the data query process.
