Steerable Discrete Fourier Transform

open access: yes, 2017
Directional transforms have recently raised a lot of interest thanks to their numerous applications in signal compression and analysis. In this letter, we introduce a generalization of the discrete Fourier transform, called steerable DFT (SDFT).

Rational Device Design and Doping‐Controlled Performance in Fast‐Response π‐Ion Gel Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
π‐Ion gel transistors (PIGTs) achieve extraordinary transconductance and stability through device configuration optimization, high‐mobility conjugated polymer selection, and hole scavenger doping. The optimized PIGTs maintain performance on flexible substrates, enabling printed, fast‐response, and wearable electronics.

A Fuzzy Graph Based Chemometrics Method for Gelatin Authentication

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
Graph theory is a well-established concept that is widely used in numerous applications such as in biology, chemistry and network analysis. The advancement in the theory of graph has led to the development of a new concept called fuzzy autocatalytic set.

Coherent states in quantum gravity: a construction based on the flux representation of LQG

open access: yes, 2012
As part of a wider study of coherent states in (loop) quantum gravity, we introduce a modification to the standard construction, based on the recently introduced (non-commutative) flux representation.

Fourier could be a data scientist: From graph Fourier transform to signal processing on graphs

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Physique, 2019
The legacy of Joseph Fourier in science is vast, especially thanks to the essential tool that the Fourier transform is. The flexibility of this analysis, its computational efficiency and the physical interpretation it offers makes it a cornerstone in many scientific domains.

Engineering a Sonotherapeutic RBC Membrane‐Derived Nanoparticle Platform for the Treatment of Liver Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Herein, an RBC membrane‐derived nanoparticle (CMN‐ICG) is engineered to efficiently deliver a sonosensitizing agent, indocyanine green (ICG), for sonotherapy of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). CMN‐ICG exhibits excellent cytocompatibility, significantly enhances hepatocyte uptake, and produces excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS) upon ultrasound ...

Contractors for flows

open access: yes, 2010
We answer a question raised by Lov\'asz and B. Szegedy [Contractors and connectors in graph algebras, J. Graph Theory 60:1 (2009)] asking for a contractor for the graph parameter counting the number of B-flows of a graph, where B is a subset of a finite ...

Signal Variation Metrics and Graph Fourier Transforms for Directed Graphs

open access: yes, 2023
In this paper we consider the problem of constructing graph Fourier transforms (GFTs) for directed graphs (digraphs), with a focus on developing multiple GFT designs that can capture different types of variation over the digraph node-domain. Specifically, for any given digraph we propose three GFT designs based on the polar decomposition. Our method is

Approximate Fast Graph Fourier Transforms via Multilayer Sparse Approximations [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Signal and Information Processing over Networks, 2018
The Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) is an algorithm of paramount importance in signal processing as it allows to apply the Fourier transform in O(n log n) instead of O(n 2) arithmetic operations. Graph Signal Processing (GSP) is a recent research domain that generalizes classical signal processing tools, such as the Fourier transform, to situations where ...

Cardiac‐Derived ECM Microspheres for Enhanced hiPSC‐CMs Maturation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Cardiac extracellular matrix microspheres derived from decellularized porcine heart provide a biomimetic 3D microenvironment for human induced pluripotent stem cell–derived cardiomyocytes (hiPSC‐CMs). This platform supports short‐ and long‐term culture, enhances structural organization, and promotes electrophysiological and functional maturation of ...
