Chromatic invariants of signed graphs

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 1982
AbstractWe continue the study initiated in “Signed graph coloring” of the chromatic and Whitney polynomials of signed graphs. In this article we prove and apply to examples three types of general theorem which have no analogs for ordinary graph coloring.

Integrated Field‐Free SOT Domain‐Wall Synapses and MTJ Stochastic Neurons for Hardware Boltzmann Machines

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Field‐free spin‐orbit torque domain‐wall synapses integrated with stochastic MTJ neurons enable compact hardware Boltzmann machines. Leveraging intrinsic stochasticity and multi‐level conductance, the system achieves efficient probabilistic learning with high accuracy, demonstrating a scalable spintronic platform for energy‐efficient edge AI.

Binary invariants and orientations of graphs

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 1992
Julius Petersen posed the following problem: (L'Intermédiaire des Mathématicens 1 (1894), p.\ 24, Problem 66) ``Soit \(u_ 0=(x_ 1-x_ 2)^ \alpha(x_ 1-x_ 3)^ \beta(x_ 2-x_ 3)^ \gamma... (x_{n- 1}-x_ n)^ \mu\) une expression où les exposants \(\alpha\), \(\beta\), \(...\), sont des entiers positifs, ou zéro; \(u_ 0\) étant du même degré en \(x_ 1,x_ 2,...,

Artery‐on‐Chip Demonstrates Mechanical and Functional Features of Healthy and Diseased Living Smooth Muscle Tissue

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This article details the development of an artery‐on‐chip platform for in vitro arterial disease modeling and therapeutic discovery. It describes the fabrication of a fibrin biomaterial scaffold seeded with iPSC‐derived smooth muscle and endothelial cells, mimicking native artery properties. Two genetic disease models showcase the platform's ability to

Stereo image processing system for robot vision [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
More and more applications (path planning, collision avoidance methods) require 3D description of the surround world. This paper describes a stereo vision system that uses 2D (grayscale or color) images to extract simple 2D geometric entities (points,

Structure‐Guided Dynamical Mechanics in Bioinspired Double Twisted Laminated Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work explores a dynamic mechanistic study of crack propagation and puncture testing via real‐time monitoring of crack initiation, propagation, and termination through nature‐inspired single and double twisted architectures fabricated from cellulose nanocrystals.

SOME CONNECTIVITY INDICES OF CAPRA-DESIGNED PLANAR BENZENOID SERIES Caₙ(C₆)

open access: yesStudia Universitatis Babes-Bolyai Chemia, 2015
A molecular graph can be transformed using map operations, one of these, named Capra, being defined by Diudea. In this paper, we focus on the structure of Capra-designed planar benzenoid series Can(C6) (k≥0) and compute some connectivity indices of this
