Augmented Reality Graph Visualizations
IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications, 2019Three-dimensional node-link diagrams are an important class of visualization for immersive analysis. Yet, there is little knowledge on how to visualize edges to support efficient analysis. We present an exploration of the design space for edge styles and discuss the results of a user study comparing six different edge variants.

Developers navigate and reason about call graphs throughout investigation and debugging activities. This is often difficult: developers can spend tens of minutes answering a single question, get lost and disoriented, and erroneously make assumptions, causing bugs. To address these problems, we designed a new form of interactive call graph visualization

Researchers and analysts in many fields are sometimes confronted with the task of comparing and contrasting two similar but different graphs or networks. This paper presents a technique and prototype tool to support the visual comparison of graphs and the interactive reconciliation of candidate graphs into a single reference graph.

We explore the application of a graph representation to model similarity relationships that exist among images found on the Web. The resulting similarity-induced graph allows us to model in a unified way different types of content-based similarities, as well as semantic relationships.

Graph Signatures for Visual Analytics
IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics, 2006We present a visual analytics technique to explore graphs using the concept of a data signature. A data signature, in our context, is a multidimensional vector that captures the local topology information surrounding each graph node. Signature vectors extracted from a graph are projected onto a low-dimensional scatterplot through the use of scaling ...

Visual Inspection of Multivariate Graphs
Computer Graphics Forum, 2008AbstractMost graph visualization techniques focus on the structure of graphs and do not offer support for dealing with node attributes and edge labels. To enable users to detect relations and patterns in terms of data associated with nodes and edges, we present a technique where this data plays a more central role.

Graph works - pilot graph theory visualization tool
Proceedings of the 5th international symposium on Software visualization, 2010Graph theory is an integral part of a discrete structures course required in computer science programs. Unfortunately, in the short time such courses devote to graph theory, students often do not appreciate and/or recognize how graph theory notions and theorems become problem modeling and problem solving tools.

Visualization of Trustworthiness Graphs
Proceedings of the 24th International Conference on World Wide Web, 2015Trustworthiness is a field of research that seeks to estimate the credibility of information by using knowledge of the source of the information. The most interesting form of this problem is when different pieces of information share sources, and when there is conflicting information from different sources.
