Dipole decomposition of two-dimensional incompressible flows
A decomposition method of a given two-dimensional incompressible flow field into a dipole sequence is developed. Necessary condition for dipole sequence is revealed using a wavelet transform of di-vorticity of the given flow.

The Graphical Representation of Structured Multivariate Data [PDF]
During the past two decades or so, graphical representations have been used increasingly for the examination, summarisation and communication of statistical data. Many graphical techniques exist for exploratory data analysis (ie. for deciding which model

A note on the graphical representation of multivariate binary data
Various ordination methods for mapping n units characterized by v binary variables are in common use in which the distance between points Pi and Pj, representing units i and j, approximates some function (a similarity coefficient) of (aij ,bij, cij, dij),

ABSTRACT Introduction Bloodstream infections due to repeated vascular access (VA) puncture and circuit connections remain major concerns in hemodialysis. Therefore, we examined current practices for glove, disinfectant, and personal protective equipment (PPE) use according to VA type in national university hospitals in Japan.

Graphical representation and generalization in sequences problems [PDF]
In this paper we present different ways used by Secondary students to generalize when they try to solve problems involving sequences. 359 Spanish students solved generalization problems in a written test.

A Bibliometric Analysis of Publications in Uremic Toxins From 1991 to 2024
ABSTRACT Background Uremic toxins are a growing area of research in nephrology, with significant implications in the progression and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the management of end‐stage kidney disease (ESKD). This bibliometric analysis aims to evaluate the global research trends, key contributors, and the impact of publications in ...

Novel Graphical Representation and Numerical Characterization of DNA Sequences
Modern sequencing technique has provided a wealth of data on DNA sequences, which has made the analysis and comparison of sequences a very important but difficult task. In this paper, by regarding the dinucleotide as a 2-combination of the multiset
