Monitoring in a grid cluster [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The monitoring of a grid cluster (or of any piece of reasonably scaled IT infrastructure) is a key element in the robust and consistent running of that site. There are several factors which are important to the selection of a useful monitoring framework,

High Performance H2−Mn Regenerative Fuel Cells through an Improved Positive Electrode Morphology

open access: yesBatteries, 2023
The effective scaling-up of redox flow batteries (RFBs) can be facilitated upon lowering the capital costs. The application of ubiquitous manganese along with hydrogen (known as H2−Mn regenerative fuel cells (RFC)) is seen as an effective solution for ...

Mesoporous Carbon Thin Films with Large Mesopores as Model Material for Electrochemical Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Mesoporous carbon thin films possessing 70 nm mesopores are prepared on titanium substrates by soft templating of resol resins with a self‐synthesized poly(ethylene oxide)‐block‐poly(hexyl acrylate) block copolymer. A strategy to avoid corrosion of the metal substrate is presented, and the films are extensively characterized in terms of morphology ...
