Effect of Graphitization Degree of Carbon on the Reaction Forming Graphite Fluoride
Kinetic studies were made on the reaction of elemental fluorine with petroleum cokes, heat-treated at various temperatures, by means of a thermogravimetric method. The reactivity of the samples, heat-treated at 1800 and 1980 C, near at which graphitization of the coke proceeded rapidly, was the poorest, that is, the initiating temperature of weight ...

Milled polycrystalline NMC811 cathode (MPC NMC) with smaller secondary particle and higher surface area had 1) greater cathode tortuosity, 2) reduced surface Ni on the cycled MPC cathodes consistent with surface reconstruction, and 3) increased Ni deposition from cathode‐anode crosstalk, manifesting in lower functional capacity and higher impedance ...

A Soft, Flexible Implant for Wireless Photothermal–Pyroelectric Neurostimulation
A replication strategy is used to enlarge the exposed surface area of barium titanate within flexible films with embedded carbon nanotubes, enabling efficient photothermal‐pyroelectric stimulation. Polar crystalline nanosheets show superior performance in guiding neural progenitor cells toward neuronal differentiation.

N‐Doping Activated Presodiation Enhances Sodium‐Ion Provision in Hard Carbon Anodes
Introducing pyrrolic‐N sites enables efficient presodiation and stronger PF6− capture, thus pre ‐ forming a robust inorganic‐rich SEI layer in hard carbon anodes. ABSTRACT Hard carbon (HC) is considered the most promising anode material for commercial sodium‐ion batteries (SIBs), yet it still faces critical challenges such as low initial Coulombic ...
