Abstract Coupling of graphitic carbon nitride (GCN) with electrospun carbon nanofibers (CNFs) enhanced the photoelectrochemical (PEC) performance of a pristine GCN photoanode. Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) was electrospun to form fibers that were then carbonized to form one-dimensional (1D) CNFs, which were then used to fabricate the GCN structure.

AbstractThe light photoresponse, the separation of photogenerated charge carriers and the specific surface area are of great importance for the development of semiconductor‐based photocatalysts. We report the anchorage of small‐sized ZnO nanorods with a length of ca. 38 nm at the surface of graphitic carbon nitride (gCN) sheets.

Abstract We report a synthetic methodology for covalent grafting of metal complexes with Schiff base ligands, on gCN as support. Based on this, the La@gCN-MnII and Lt@gCN-MnII materials have been prepared. Their physicochemical characterization suggested the successful immobilization of the entire [MnII-Schiff base] complexes on gCN without ...
