Ultrasensitive Anti‐Stokes Luminescence Thermometry in Transition Metal Dichalcogenide Monolayers
We demonstrate a highly sensitive nanothermometer using anti‐Stokes photoluminescence, also known as photoluminescence upconversion (UPL), in monolayer tungsten disulfide. A strong resonantly enhanced UPL is observed, confirming the central role of optical phonons in the PL upconversion mechanism.

Conformal Metallosaccharide Hybrid Films for Protecting Wood Surfaces From Environmental Damage
Ti‐ribose hybrid films fabricated by molecular layer deposition form a conformal and uniform coating on wood surfaces, which provides water repellence, dimensional stability, and resistance to acidic and alkaline environments, while preserving the natural appearance.

Low‐Profile, High‐Gain GRIN RF Lenses via Multi‐Material Vat Photopolymerization
We investigate the opportunity of leveraging multi‐material vat photopolymerization printing to manufacture intricate lenses exhibiting permittivity gradients that can increase signal gain in transmitted radiofrequency signals in the X‐ and Ku‐bands. Lenses produced with more distinct low‐loss materials (up to 5) can deliver an 18 dB signal gain with a

This note gives a construction for a family of weak grates; that is, acyclic digraphs of logarithmic depth with this property: A superlinear number of pairs of vertices remain connected after removing any sufficiently small linear sized vertex set. The construction is based on one by Schnitger for acyclic digraphs with a similar property.

Diffraction at a Curved Grating: Approximation by an Infinite Plane Grating
The effect of curvature of a cylindrical grating on the diffraction of TE and TM polarized electromagnetic plane waves is considered. For every ratio of the wavelength \(\lambda\) to the period \(d\) a local approximation is established in the planar field by a plane infinite grating, when the radius \(R\) of the circular grating goes to infinity ...

All‐solution‐processed, low‐cost extended short‐wavelength infrared photodetectors are realized by coupling colloidal HgTe quantum dots to plasmonic In2O3:Sn,F nanocrystals. Localized surface plasmon resonances boost and spectrally tailor light absorption between 1500 and 3000 nm, enabling responsivities above 40 A W−1.
