SUMMARYIL-2 production by mitogen-induced peripheral blood mononuclear cells was reported to be reduced in several autoimmune diseases, including Graves'disease (GD). This production defect in hyperthyroid GD was restored to normal by antithyroid drug therapy or during remission.
