Relativistic gravitation theory for the MOND paradigm
, 2004The modified newtonian dynamics (MOND) paradigm of Milgrom can boast of a number of successful predictions regarding galactic dynamics; these are made without the assumption that dark matter plays a significant role.

Nordström's scalar theory of gravitation is discussed from a modern point of view, and compared with some aspects of general relativity. We discuss the equations of motion for test masses, the field equations in the presence of matter, and the extent to which the principle of equivalence, Mach's principle, and the expansion of the universe are ...

Abstract: We report an extremely unusual instance of macular erythema on the arms of a 15‐year‐old boy that occurs when the arms are in a dependent position. The eruption disappears promptly on elevation of the arms. The skin changes observed in our patient are similar to those previously described under the term gravitational erythema.

Gravitating effect of gravitation.
2011The work reported in this thesis is based on the vierbein field formulation of gravitational theory, used in conjunction with the method of the compensating field. It is shown that the most general linear equations of second order for a tensor field, which are invariant under orientations of the local inertial frame and under gauge transformations of ...

AbstractWe report a case of gravitational erythema in a 13‐year‐old boy who presented with a blotchy erythematous rash affecting his arms when hanging down and legs and lower abdomen on standing. The cutaneous symptoms in the upper limbs would resolve rapidly on elevation of the arms, whereas the lower limb rash would disappear on lying flat.

Are Newtonian Gravitation and Geometrized Newtonian Gravitation Theoretically Equivalent?
, 2014I argue that a criterion of theoretical equivalence due to Glymour (Noûs 11(3):227–251, 1977) does not capture an important sense in which two theories may be equivalent.
