Gravitational helioseismology? [PDF]
The magnitudes of the external gravitational perturbations associated with the normal modes of the Sun are evaluated to determine whether these solar oscillations could be observed with the proposed Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA), a network of satellites designed to detect gravitational radiation.

Motion of a rigid dumbbell with a flywheel in a central gravitational field
The article introduces theoretical studies of space flight of the dumbbell. A description of the general qualitative picture of the possibility of implementing the non-reactive principle of motion of an extended body in a central gravitational field is ...

The Interaction of Quantum Gravity with Matter
The interaction of (linearized) gravitation with matter is studied in the causal approach up to the second order of perturbation theory. We consider the generic case and prove that gravitation is universal in the sense that the existence of the ...

Nonlinear Fokker−Planck equations (NLFPEs) constitute useful effective descriptions of some interacting many-body systems. Important instances of these nonlinear evolution equations are closely related to the thermostatistics based on the S q

Structural properties of a new class of stellar structures in modified teleparallel gravity
This paper explores new neutron star models based on spherically symmetric space–time. We take into account the gravitational effects of f(T,T) gravity, in which T is the torsion and T is the trace of the energy–momentum tensor.

Cancer Studies under Space Conditions: Finding Answers Abroad
In this review article, we discuss the current state of knowledge in cancer research under real and simulated microgravity conditions and point out further research directions in this field. Outer space is an extremely hostile environment for human life,

In approximately half the systems currently recognized as strongly gravitationally lensed, the background object is an extragalactic radio source. Radio observations have played an important role in the identification of lensed systems, and the properties of radio sources allow some of the astrophysical applications of lensing to be realized.

It is shown that unlike Einstein's gravity quadratic gravity produces dispersive photon propagation. The energy-dependent contribution to the deflection of photons passing by the Sun is computed and subsequently the angle at which the visible spectrum would be spread over is plotted as a function of the $R_{ }^2-$sector mass.

To infer the internal equilibrium structure of a gaseous planet, especially the equation of state (EOS) and size of its inner core, requires accurate determination of lower-order zonal gravitational coefficients.
