Constraints on Lorentz Invariance Violation with Multiwavelength Polarized Astrophysical Sources
Possible violations of Lorentz invariance (LIV) can produce vacuum birefringence, which results in a frequency-dependent rotation of the polarization plane of linearly polarized light from distant sources.

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

We consider the effect that gravity has when one tries to set up a constant background form field. We find that in analogy with the Melvin solution, where magnetic field lines self-gravitate to form a flux-tube, the self-gravity of the form field creates fluxbranes.
