Dual‐mode strategy for sintering‐stability and bonding of SLA additively manufactured ceramic green bodies

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Ceramic Technology, Volume 23, Issue 1, February 2026.
This study introduces a dual‐mode green‐state strategy for stereolithography‐based ceramic additive manufacturing. In the first mode, UV‐curable resin‐assisted bonding enables the assembly of monolithic ceramic architectures, expanding design freedom.

Coordinate‐ and Spacetime‐Independent Quantum Physics

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 538, Issue 1, January 2026.
This article studies in the framework of quantum field theory in curved spacetime, if there exists a single zero‐rank‐tensor solution of a Klein‐Gordon PDE, being valid at once for the depicted spacetimes. The answer is shown to be affirmative, even for a class of such solutions having the standard applications in particle physics. ABSTRACT The concept

Geometric Limits for the Seismic Design of Unreinforced Masonry Fence Walls

open access: yesEarthquake Engineering &Structural Dynamics, Volume 55, Issue 1, Page 130-149, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Current seismic design standards require masonry free‐standing walls to comply with regulations for masonry structural walls. Applying these current seismic design standards to fence walls (free‐standing walls) may be inappropriate due to the different restraint conditions between fence walls and structural walls.

Physicochemical Properties and 3D Printability of Pregelatinized Corn Starch Were Modulated Through Pulsed Electric Fields and Ultrasonic Treatments

open access: yesFood Frontiers, Volume 7, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT While US and PEF treatments have been studied for native corn starch, their effects on the 3D printing behavior of pregelatinized corn starch (PGCS) remain largely unexplored. This study is among the first to link these non‐thermal treatments to enhanced functionality and printability of PGCS.

Exploring the Effects of Reduced Gravitational Field Impacts on Convective Heat Transfer: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesHeat Transfer, Volume 55, Issue 1, Page 764-774, January 2026.
ABSTRACT This review explores the impact of gravitational instability on convective heat transfer, integrating existing research results and theoretical models. Gravitational instability is vital in promoting or hindering convective actions in different systems, such as atmospheric events, ocean currents, and industrial processes.

Unified Permeability Modeling for Transitional Darcy/Non‐Darcy Flow Based on 3D Pore‐Level Numerical Flow Tests

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical and Analytical Methods in Geomechanics, Volume 50, Issue 1, Page 162-177, January 2026.
ABSTRACT This study presents a unified representation of the seepage characteristics of virtual soil, such as the transition zone from low‐velocity Darcy flow to high‐velocity non‐Darcy flow, by conducting 3D pore‐level fluid simulations. The process of defining a virtual test region as a representative volume element (RVE) and then assessing the ...
