Gravitational atoms [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2019
Particles in a yet unexplored dark sector with sufficiently large mass and small gauge coupling may form purely gravitational atoms (quantum gravitational bound states) with a rich phenomenology. In particular, we investigate the possibility of having an observable signal of gravitational waves or ultra high energy cosmic rays from the decay of ...

Gravitational and Anti-Gravitational Applications

open access: yesInternational Journal of Geosciences, 2017
It is now possible to partially deflect gravitation away from an object so that the gravitational attraction on the object is reduced. That effect makes it possible to extract energy from the gravitational field, which makes the generation of gravito-electric power technologically feasible.

An Open Database of Lunar Regolith and Simulants Properties

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical and Analytical Methods in Geomechanics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Lunar regolith, the layer of unconsolidated material covering the Moon's surface, is central to the science and technology developed for the Moon, notably related to in‐situ science investigations, resource utilization, surface infrastructure, and mobility systems.

Collusion through debt and managers

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Economics/Revue canadienne d'économique, EarlyView.
Abstract We investigate the anticompetitive effects of debt financing and managerial incentives in the presence of managers incurring personal bankruptcy costs. We characterize the strategic value for firms' shareholders of resorting to debt and managerial incentives as complementary devices to sustain collusion among firms, when managerial bankruptcy ...

EMU and trade: The euro effect on the agricultural sector

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Agricultural Economics/Revue canadienne d'agroeconomie, EarlyView.
Abstract This paper uses a structural gravity model to examine the partial equilibrium effects of the European Monetary Union (EMU) on trade for the agricultural sector. We find robust evidence that EMU has increased trade both between members and between EMU and non‐EMU member countries. This positive link is found in most member countries.

Novel assessment of facial skin displacement across age groups using a custom‐designed imaging device: Evidence from French women

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cosmetic Science, EarlyView.
Deformation fields of skin displacements indicated by vectors in a 22‐year‐old participant (a) and a 65‐year‐old volunteer (b) in different positions. These vectors represent the direction and magnitude of skin displacement at each point on the facial surface.

Real‐world evidence for the efficacy and tolerability of an isobutylamido‐thiazolyl‐resorcinol (Thiamidol)‐containing skincare regimen on facial hyperpigmentation and overall skin appearance: A multi‐centre study in 11 European countries

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cosmetic Science, EarlyView.
A Thiamidol‐containing skincare regimen showed significant improvement in facial hyperpigmentation in a real‐world study across 11 European countries. The treatment led to a significant reduction in mMASI scores, enhanced overall skin condition and demonstrated high tolerability.

Genèse et thématologie de Don Quichotte : l'inflexion des chapitres VI et VII

open access: yesOrbis Litterarum, EarlyView.

Physiological‐Based Cord Clamping and Early Oxygenation in Newborns With Transposition of the Great Arteries: A Quality Improvement Study Protocol

open access: yesCJC Pediatric &Congenital Heart Disease, Volume 5, Issue 3, Page 136-144, June 2026.
Central Illustration Abstract At birth, major circulatory and pulmonary adaptations are required for a successful foetal‐to‐neonatal transition. In newborns with transposition of the great arteries (TGA), this transition is often impaired, leading to severe hypoxemia.

Gravitational lens time delays and gravitational waves [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1994
Using Fermat's principle, we analyze the effects of very long wavelength gravitational waves upon the images of a gravitationally lensed quasar. We show that the lens equation in the presence of gravity waves is equivalent to that of a lens with different alignment between source, deflector, and observer in the absence of gravity waves.
