Effects of energy dependent spacetime on geometrical thermodynamics and heat engine of black holes: Gravity's rainbow

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2018
Inspired by applications of gravity's rainbow in UV completion of general relativity, we investigate charged topological black holes in gravity's rainbow and show that depending on the values of different parameters, these solutions may encounter with ...

Conformal transformation route to gravity’s rainbow [PDF]

open access: yesGeneral Relativity and Gravitation, 2018
Conformal transformation as a mathematical tool has been used in many areas of gravitational physics. In this paper, we would consider the gravity's rainbow, in which the metric could be treated as a conformal rescaling of the original metric. By using the conformal transformation technique, we get a specific form of modified Newton's constant and ...

Research Paper: The structure of Hybrid Stars in Gravity’s Rainbow [PDF]

open access: yesفیزیک کاربردی ایران
We investigate the structural properties of hybrid neutron stars—featuring a quark core—within the framework of gravity’s rainbow. Using a composite equation of state that describes hadronic, mixed, and pure quark phases, we solve the generalized Tolman ...

Rainbow Gravity Corrections to the Entropic Force [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2018
The entropic force attracts a lot of interest for its multifunctional properties. For instance, Einstein’s field equation, Newton’s law of gravitation, and the Friedmann equation can be derived from the entropic force. In this paper, utilizing a new kind of rainbow gravity model that was proposed by Magueijo and Smolin, we explore the quantum gravity ...

Black String Solutions in Rainbow Gravity

open access: yesUniverse, 2023
In this paper, we studied black string solutions under the consideration of rainbow gravity. We analytically obtained the solution for four-dimensional black strings in terms of the functions f(E/Ep) and g(E/Ep) that sets the energy scale where the rainbow gravity becomes relevant.

The gift remembered: The Human Anatomy and Physiology Society (HAPS) Anatomical Donor Stewardship's ethical and practical handbook for anatomy donor tributes

open access: yesAnatomical Sciences Education, EarlyView.
Abstract Providing students with a way to honor human body donors during or after an anatomy course has been shown to help provide a sense of closure and comfort to students and, when present, donor families. Gestures of gratitude for donors can also emphasize humanistic values of respect, empathy, and professionalism.

Accelerating AdS black holes in gravity’s rainbow

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
Motivated by the effect of the energy of moving particles in C-metric, we first obtain exact accelerating black hole solutions in gravity’s rainbow. Then, we study the effects of gravity’s rainbow and C-metric parameters on the Ricci and Kretschmann ...

The ecology of hope: Building rainbows in education systems

open access: yesBritish Educational Research Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Hope is frequently invoked in education, yet rarely theorised. Where it has been theorised, it has been understood in two largely separate ways: as an individual psychological capacity, in the positive‐psychology tradition and as a critical‐emancipatory stance, in the pedagogy of hope.

Absence of black holes at LHC due to gravity's rainbow

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2015
In this paper, we investigate the effect of Planckian deformation of quantum gravity on the production of black holes at colliders using the framework of gravity's rainbow.
