By attaching five (complex) anticommuting property coordinates to the four (real) commuting space-time ones, it is possible to accommodate all the known fundamental particles in their three generations. A general relativistic extension to space-time-property can be carried out such that the gauge fields find their place in the space-property sector and

I often hear scientists say that gravity is a purely attractive force. In his 1967 article “GRAVITATION”, World Book Encyclopedia’s Robert F. Paton M.Sc., Ph.D. presents a view closer in time to General Relativity’s formulation when he writes – “Einstein says that bodies do not attract each other at a distance.

The effect of gravity upon changes of the entropy of a gravity-dominated system is discussed. In a universe dominated by vacuum energy, gravity is repulsive, and there is accelerated expansion. Furthermore, inhomogeneities are inflated and the universe approaches a state of thermal equilibrium. The difference between the evolution of the cosmic entropy

Liouville Gravity from Einstein Gravity [PDF]
We show that Liouville gravity arises as the limit of pure Einstein gravity in 2+epsilon dimensions as epsilon goes to zero, provided Newton's constant scales with epsilon. Our procedure - spherical reduction, dualization, limit, dualizing back - passes several consistency tests: geometric properties, interactions with matter and the Bekenstein-Hawking

AbstractThe lymphatic system is compromised in different groups of patients. To recognize pathology, we must know what is healthy. We use Near‐Infrared Fluorescence (NIRF) to assess peripheral lymphatic function in humans. We have shown that external factors such as exercise, hyperthermia, and pharmacological mediators influence the function of ...

Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

We consider the possibility of energy being exchanged between the scalar and matter fields in scalar-tensor theories of gravity. Such an exchange provides a new mechanism which can drive variations in the gravitational 'constant' G. We find exact solutions for the evolution of spatially flat Friedman-Roberston-Walker cosmologies in this scenario and ...

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.
