Gravity and geoid anomalies of the Philippine Sea: Evidence on the depth of compensation for the negative residual water depth anomaly [PDF]

open access: yes
A negative free-air gravity anomaly which occurs in the central part of the Philippine Sea was examined to determine the distribution and nature of possible regional mass excesses or deficiencies. Geoid anomalies from GEOS-3 observation were positive.

An optimizing microseismic method for rock burst early warning based on mining production process

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
A classification early warning method of rock burst based on hourly microseismic data is proposed, which can be combined with the on‐site production process to provide more timely warning. Abstract Microseismic (MS) events have been reported in nearly every coal mining country, which could well lead to rock burst in underground coal mines.

Structural model of the Northern Latium volcanic area constrained by MT, gravity and aeromagnetic data

open access: yesAnnals of Geophysics, 1997
The results of about 120 magnetotelluric soundings carried out in the Vulsini, Vico and Sabatini volcanic areas were modeled along with Bouguer and aeromagnetic anomalies to reconstruct a model of the structure of the shallow (less than 5 km of depth ...

Deep versus shallow origin of gravity anomalies, topography and volcanism on Earth, Venus and Mars

open access: yes, 2010
The relation between gravity anomalies, topography and volcanism can yield important insights about the internal dynamics of planets. From the power spectra of gravity and topography on Earth, Venus and Mars we infer that gravity anomalies have likely ...

Feasibility of Wind‐Powered Green Hydrogen Production via a Hybrid Graph Neural Network‐Transformer Forecasting Model

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Accurate long‐term wind speed forecasting is pivotal for the strategic planning of renewable energy infrastructure, particularly for assessing the techno‐economic feasibility of wind‐powered green hydrogen facilities. However, capturing the complex spatiotemporal dependencies in climate data remains a significant challenge. This study proposes

MAGSAT scalar anomalies [PDF]

open access: yes
To facilitate processing large data arrays, elements of spherical Earth analysis programs NVERTSM, SMFLD, NVERTG and GLFD were implemented and tested on the LARS IBM 4341 computer.

3-Space In-Flow Theory of Gravity: Boreholes, Blackholes and the Fine Structure Constant [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
A theory of 3-space explains the phenomenon of gravity as arising from the time-dependence and inhomogeneity of the differential flow of this 3-space.

Gravitational anomalies signaling the breakdown of classical gravity

open access: yes, 2014
Recent observations for three types of astrophysical systems severely challenge the GR plus dark matter scenario, showing a phenomenology which is what modified gravity theories predict.

Trendelenburg positioning with or without norepinephrine infusion for haemodynamic support in anaesthetised hypovolemic horses

open access: yesEquine Veterinary Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Intraoperative haemorrhage during equine anaesthesia is a rare but potentially fatal complication requiring prompt haemodynamic support. Postural manoeuvres such as Trendelenburg (TL) positioning and vasopressor support augment venous return and improve cardiac output (CO), yet their efficacy in anaesthetised hypovolemic horses ...
