Gravity-controlled gliding velocity in Loxodes
European Journal of Protistology, 1992The locomotion of Loxodes as controlled by the natural gravity vector was investigated employing a mass-cell approach. Samples of cells were incubated for 4 hours in a 1.6 mm deep well (41 × 85 mm) filled with defined experimental solution. Their gliding locomotion on surfaces inclined between 0° and 90° was recorded by videocamera.

$$ gravity: Steepness control
2013We investigate a simple generalization of the metric exponential $f(R)$ gravity theory that is cosmologically viable and compatible with solar system tests of gravity. We show that, as compared to other viable $f(R)$ theories, its steep dependence on the Ricci scalar $R$ facilitates agreement with structure constraints, opening the possibility of $f(R)$

Terraforming of Planets Through Gravity Control - Production of Gravity
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2021This paper presents the cases of terraforming by gravity control and the case of production gravity. Using the prior work of the “Gravity Control” are determined the cases of terraforming a planet. Moreover, is presented the case of production gravity.

2012
This paper presents the concept and a prototype of "Gravity Controls". "Gravity Controls" makes standard Graphical User Interface (GUI) controls "magnetic" to allow overcoming impacts of motor problems (e.g. tremor of users leading to unsmooth movements and instable positioning of the cursor (e.g. for clicking or mouse over events).

Gravity packaging final waste recovery based on gravity separation and chemical imaging control
Waste Management, 2017Plastic polymers are characterized by a high calorific value. Post-consumer plastic waste can be thus considered, in many cases, as a typical secondary solid fuels according to the European Commission directive on End of Waste (EoW). In Europe the practice of incineration is considered one of the solutions for waste disposal waste, for energy recovery ...

ESTER CONTROL IN HIGH GRAVITY BREWING
Journal of the Institute of Brewing, 1974Pilot brewing trials have shown that beers of good flavour can be produced using a high gravity brewing system in which worts of 1080° gravity are fermented and the resulting beers diluted to give an O.G. of 1040°. The flavour can differ from that of the control beers in that the diluted beers retain more ester and strong ale character.

Heart Rate Monitoring and Control in Altered Gravity Conditions
2007 29th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, 2007On the basis of indirect evidences it has been hypothesized that during space missions the almost complete absence of gravity might impair the baroreflex control of circulation. In the first part of this paper we report results obtained from a series of experiments carried out to directly verify this hypothesis during the 16-day STS 107 Shuttle flight.

Controlling rigid lens centration through specific gravity
International Contact Lens Clinic, 1992Abstract Rigid lens specific gravity may be able to play an important role in controlling vertical lens positioning, particularly in those patients whose current contact lenses do not center well. Ten subjects, five with chronically high-riding rigid lenses and five with low-riding lenses, were fit with lenses of the identical optimal design but of ...

Autobalancing control for a reduced gravity simulator
2013 IEEE/ASME International Conference on Advanced Intelligent Mechatronics, 2013Physical simulation of a reduced gravity condition significantly aids astronaut training, biomechanics researchers, neuro-rehabilitation practitioners as well as other potential applications. This paper provides means for automatically balancing a simple reduced gravity platform.

Is Electromagnetic Gravity Control Possible?
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2004We study the interplay of Einstein’s Gravitation (GR) and Maxwell’s Electromagnetism, where the distribution of energy‐momentum is not presently known (The Feynman Lectures, Vol 2, Chapter 27, section 4). As Feynman himself stated, one might in principle use Einstein’s equations of GR to find such a distribution.
