Soliton, quasi-soliton, and their interaction solutions of a nonlinear (2 + 1)-dimensional ZK–mZK–BBM equation for gravity waves

open access: yesOpen Physics
The ZK–mZK–BBM equation plays a crucial role in actually depicting the gravity water waves with the long wave region. In this article, the bilinear forms of the (2 + 1)-dimensional ZK–mZK–BBM equation were derived using variable transformation. Then, the

DETERMINING BILATERAL TRADE PATTERNS USING A DYNAMIC GRAVITY EQUATION

open access: yes
Using a dynamic gravity equation, we show that the national product differentiation model explains food and agricultural trade more properly, while the product differentiation model is more appropriate to explain large-scale manufacturing trade.

From relativistic gravity to the Poisson equation

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Abstract We consider the non-relativistic limit of general relativity coupled to a (p+1)-form gauge field and a scalar field in arbitrary dimensions and investigate under which conditions this gives rise to a Poisson equation for a Newton potential describing Newton-Cartan gravity outside a massive p-dimensional extended object, a ...

Overcoming Printing and Interfacial Challenges in Liquid Metal Direct Writing for Integrated Stretchable Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Liquid metal direct writing is advanced from a technological and fundamental point. Utilizing a kinematic bed, printing on large surfaces with irregularities is enabled. Furthermore, a pressure‐driven flow during printing is discovered that affects the thickness of traces.

‘Dual’ gravity: using spatial econometrics to control for multilateral resistance [PDF]

open access: yes
We propose a quantity-based `dual' version of the gravity equation that yields an estimating equation with both cross-sectional interdependence and spatially lagged error terms.

Hamiltonian Equations of Motion of Quadratic Gravity

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik
Abstract The equations of motion of the Hamiltonian formulation of quadratic gravity are computed explicitly. This is the theory with the most general Lagrangian with terms of quadratic order in the curvature tensor (discarding the cosmological constant). The symbolic computational tool Cadabra is employed.

Bogomol’nyi-like equations in gravity theories

open access: yesThe European Physical Journal C
AbstractUsing the Bogomol’nyi–Prasad–Sommerfield Lagrangian method, we show that gravity theory coupled to matter in various dimensions may possess Bogomol’nyi-like equations, which are first-order differential equations, satisfying the Einstein equations and the Euler–Lagrange equations of classical fields (U(1) gauge and scalar fields). In particular
