The Influence of Bathymetry on Regional Marine Geoid Modeling in Northern Europe

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering, 2022
Although Northern Europe has been the target area in many regionwide geoid determination studies, the research has been land-focused, neglecting bathymetry information. With new projects, such as the Baltic Sea Chart Datum 2000, the attention is shifting

Gravity as a Quantum Field Theory

open access: yesSymmetry, 2023
Classical gravity is understood as the geometry of spacetime, and it seems very different from the other known interactions. In this review, I will instead stress the analogies: Like strong interactions, the low energy effective field theory of gravity is related to a nonlinearly realized symmetry, and like electroweak interactions, it is a gauge ...

Feasibility Analysis of Autonomous Orbit Determination and Gravity-Field Recovery around Asteroids Using Inter-Satellite Range Data

open access: yesAerospace, 2023
Autonomous navigation and orbit determination are key problems of asteroid exploration missions. Inter-satellite range link is a type of measurement widely used in the orbit determination of Earth satellites, but not so widely used in missions around ...

Measurement of Jupiter’s asymmetric gravity field [PDF]

open access: yesNature, 2018
The gravity harmonics of a fluid, rotating planet can be decomposed into static components arising from solid-body rotation and dynamic components arising from flows. In the absence of internal dynamics, the gravity field is axially and hemispherically symmetric and is dominated by even zonal gravity harmonics J2n that are approximately proportional to

郯庐断裂带中段三维密度结构反演与解释

open access: yesDizhen xuebao, 2019

Evaluation of globally gridded precipitation data and satellite-based terrestrial water storage products using hydrological drought recovery time [PDF]

open access: yesHydrology and Earth System Sciences
Accurate precipitation observations are crucial for understanding meteorological and hydrological processes. Most precipitation products rely on station-based observations, either directly or for bias-corrected satellite retrievals.
