Classifying avian drinking behaviour: ecological insights and implications in a changing world
ABSTRACT Water is a fundamental currency of life, and its availability significantly influences animal behaviour, physiology and distributions. However, our knowledge around the dependence on water for drinking and the direct and indirect mechanisms driving related behaviours remains partial in the context of changing climates. Here, we review patterns

Momentum-Resolved Ultrafast Electron Dynamics in Superconducting Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+delta
The non-equilibrium state of the high-Tc superconductor Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+delta and its ultrafast dynamics have been investigated by femtosecond time- and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy well below the critical temperature.

Massive open star clusters using the VVV survey II. Discovery of six clusters with Wolf-Rayet stars [PDF]
Context: The ESO Public Survey "VISTA Variables in the V\'ia L\'actea" (VVV) provides deep multi-epoch infrared observations for an unprecedented 562 sq. degrees of the Galactic bulge, and adjacent regions of the disk.

ABSTRACT Post‐translational modifications (PTMs) to tubulin subunits in microtubule filaments are thought to comprise a component of the tubulin code that specifies microtubule functions in cell physiology and animal development. Acetylation of Lysine‐40 (K40) on α‐tubulin (αTub‐K40ac) and glutamylation of both α‐ and β‐tubulin are two tubulin PTMs of ...

Scat analysis of gray wolves (Canis lupus) in Slovenia [PDF]
Volk (Canis lupus) je oportunistični plenilec, ki pleni predvsem velike sesalce. Njegova prehrana se zelo razlikuje med posameznimi območji, zato je pomembno pridobiti lokalne podatke iz različnih delov njegovega areala.

Optically thick clumps: not the solution to the Wolf-Rayet wind momentum problem? [PDF]
The hot star wind momentum problem η = Mν∞/(L/c)» much greater than 1 is revisited, and it is shown that the conventional belief, that it can be solved by a combination of clumping of the wind and multiple scattering of photons, is ...

Landscape of Research on Accounting Scope 3 Emissions: A Review of Methodologies and Data
ABSTRACT Scope 3 emissions have been proposed as a critical metric for evaluating corporate carbon footprint, identifying emission sources, and developing mitigation solutions. Yet, widespread corporate reporting of Scope 3 emissions remains limited, highlighting a critical gap in both research and practice.

Tracing large-scale structures in circumstellar disks with ALMA
Planets are supposed to form in circumstellar disks. The gravitational potential of a planet perturbs the disk and leads to characteristic structures, i.e. spiral waves and gaps, in the disk's density profile.

Tully-Fisher analysis of the multiple cluster system Abell 901/902 [PDF]
We derive rotation curves from optical emission lines of 182 disk galaxies (96 in the cluster and 86 in the field) in the region of Abell 901/902 located at $z\sim 0.165$. We focus on the analysis of B-band and stellar-mass Tully-Fisher relations.

Tracking Climate and Environmental Attention: A News‐Based Composite Index
ABSTRACT This study introduces the Climate and Environmental Attention Index, a composite indicator that tracks media attention to climate and environmental issues. Based on the Semantic Brand Score, the proposed index extracts significant signals from unstructured text, going beyond traditional measures of word frequency and sentiment.
