We developed a new series of monomeric (MY) and dimeric acceptors incorporating unfused (DY1) and fused (DY2) linkers, which establish a controlled self‐aggregation trend of MY > DY2 > DY1. The DY2‐based system yields a bulk‐heterojunction nanoparticle morphology that appears to balance phase separation and interfacial accessibility, consistent with ...

Effect of day or night grazing on behaviour of swamp buffalo heifers [PDF]
An experiment was conducted to examine the effect of day or night grazing on behaviour by swamp buffaloes. A grazing trial was conducted over 42 days in the late rainy season, during September to November2005 at Surin Livestock Research and Breeding ...

Increasing herd size and fragmented or non-uniform land challenge pasture-based milk pro-duction systems. Therefore, part-time grazing combined with indoor feeding of fresh herbage(‘cut-and-carry’) allows to maintain the advantages of fresh-herbage-based

Layer orientation dictates charge transport in 2D conjugated metal–organic frameworks, yet controllable methods remain scarce. We report surfactant monolayer‐assisted on‐water synthesis of cm2‐scale Ni‐HHTP films with programmable face‐on and edge‐on orientations.

Understanding the effects of cattle grazing in English chalk streams
Accounting for much of the landscape of southern England, chalk stream environments hold significant cultural, economic and ecological value. However, attempts to retain this value are often hindered by the remnants of historic management practices that ...

Atomic Layer Deposition of Metallic Molybdenum Dioxide Thin Films Enabling High‐k Rutile Capacitors
The first direct atomic layer deposition (ALD) process of molybdenum dioxide (MoO2) thin films is reported using molybdenum(II) acetate dimer (Mo2(OAc)4) and oxygen (O2) as precursors at 235°C–275°C. The films are crystalline, exceptionally pure, and conductive.

Animal behaviour in the sub-tropics. II. Grazing behaviour of sheep.
The experiment was conducted during 5 consecutive days in Aug. 1961 under conditions simulating those of Tahreer Province, a newly reclaimed desert area in Egypt. Four groups of 30 ewes in early pregnancy were studied. They represented the folio wing breeds: Ossimi [Ausimi] (indigenous), Texel (imported from Holland), Caucasian Merino (imported from ...

Urine patch distribution under dairy grazing at three stocking rates in Ireland
peer-reviewedNitrate pollution of water is a serious global environmental issue. Grassland agriculture is a major source of diffuse nitrate pollution, with much of this nitrate originating from the urine patches of grazing animals.

Stabilizing Electrochemical Interfaces With Multifunctional Cobalt Nitride Layers
Cobalt nitrides emerged recently as an interesting class of earth‐abundant oxygen evolution catalysts. Herein, plasma‐enhanced atomic layer deposition is used to synthesize multifunctional cobalt nitride layers that simultaneously protect and catalytically activate photoelectrode surfaces.
