Volatile ZrO2 Antiferroelectric Tunnel Junctions for Rapid, Energy‐Efficient Physical Reservoir Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An antiferroelectric tunnel junction serves as a reservoir computing node, where field‐induced phase transitions and spontaneous ZrO2 relaxation deliver nonlinear fading memory. An In‐Ga‐Zn oxide interlayer enlarges the memory margin and multibit state richness.

Grazing exclusion significantly reduced soil organic carbon stocks but enhanced soil inorganic carbon stocks in desert steppe of northwest China

open access: yesEcological Indicators
Grazing exclusion is a crucial management practice impacting carbon sequestration and ecosystem stability. However, the effects and key factors of long-term grazing exclusion on soil organic carbon stocks (SOCS) and soil inorganic carbon stocks (SICS) in

Porous Ultralow‐κ sp2‐Bonded Boron Nitride Thin Films as Copper Diffusion Barriers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Porous sp2‐bonded boron nitride (p‐BN) thin films with an ultralow dielectric constant (κ = 1.77) are directly grown on Si substrates via RF magnetron sputtering. The films feature uniform nanopores (1.85 nm), high mechanical stability, hydrophobicity, and excellent Cu diffusion barrier performance even at 3 nm thickness, offering a promising solution ...

Dicationic Ion‐Pair Doping Enables Stable and High‐Performing Conducting Polymers for Organic Thermoelectrics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TAB–2TFSI enables efficient ion‐pair doping across a wide range of conjugated polymers, where the strongly oxidizing TAB core drives charge transfer, and the TFSI counterions promote favorable ionic compensation. This dicationic dopant promotes uniform dopant distribution, improves structural order, and increases carrier delocalization, establishing a ...

Impact of 25 years of grazing exclusion and shrub removal on plant community structure and soil characteristics in a xerophytic rangeland

open access: yesSpanish Journal of Agricultural Research, 2020
Aim of study: We tested the hypothesis that long periods of grazing exclusion in areas with a history of high grazing intensity will have a positive impact on soil nutrient conditions and favor soil infiltration, increase biomass and lead to a recovery ...

Urine patch distribution under dairy grazing at three stocking rates in Ireland [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
peer-reviewedNitrate pollution of water is a serious global environmental issue. Grassland agriculture is a major source of diffuse nitrate pollution, with much of this nitrate originating from the urine patches of grazing animals.

Engineering Large‐Grain Metal Halide Perovskite Films via Chemical Vapor Deposition for High‐Performance, Ultralow‐Noise Perovskite Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chemical vapor deposition produces large‐grain, phase‐pure CsPbBr3 films (grains up to 35 µm) with Drude‐like terahertz photoconductivity and twofold higher carrier mobility versus spin‐coated references. These microstructural advances translate into photodetectors with a detectivity of 8.4 × 1012 Jones, dark current below 1 pA cm−2, X‐ray sensitivity ...

PUBLIC LAND POLICY AND THE VALUE OF GRAZING PERMITS [PDF]

open access: yes
This article provides an empirical test of the traditional theory of permit value and investigates the impact of recent changes in public land policies on the value of grazing permits.

Deciphering the Crystallinity‐Dependent Sensitivity of Charge Injection in n‐Channel Organic Transistors: Reliable Characterization and Optimized Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Precise characterization of n‐type organic semiconductors necessitates decoupling interfacial constraints from intrinsic charge transport. This work reveals that disordered polymers are particularly vulnerable to contact‐limited bottlenecks compared to their crystalline counterparts.
