Climate Projections of Atmospheric Parameters Historically Linked to High Summer Temperatures by 2100: The Case of the Côte D'azur

open access: yesMeteorological Applications, Volume 32, Issue 3, May/June 2025.
This study analyzes projected summer climate changes in 2100 for the Côte d'Azur using CMIP6 projections and SSP scenarios. Increasing anticyclonic conditions favor very hot days while reducing cool days. These changes exacerbate health risks, especially for vulnerable populations, due to rising temperatures and drying air masses.
