Applications of Ferric Oxide in Water Splitting by Electrolysis: A Comprehensive Review
In water electrolysis, the use of an efficient catalyst derived from earth-abundant materials which is cost-effective and stable is essential for the economic sustainability of hydrogen production.

An embedding scheme for the Dirac equation
An embedding scheme is developed for the Dirac Hamiltonian H. Dividing space into regions I and II separated by surface S, an expression is derived for the expectation value of H which makes explicit reference to a trial function defined in I alone, with

The Separation of the Two Types of Iodine Molecule and the Photochemical Reaction of Gaseous Iodine with Hexene [PDF]
Soon after Dennison had deduced from the specific-heat curve that ordinary hydrogen gas consists of a mixture of two types of molecule, the so called ortho and para hydrogen, a similar state of affairs in the case of iodine gas was demonstrated by direct

Toward Reliable FOWT Modeling: A New Calibration Approach for Extreme Environmental Loads
The current paper presents a comparative analysis between a high-fidelity simulation tool and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) in evaluating the behavior of a fully coupled floating offshore wind turbine (FOWT) system subjected to three distinct design

A Comprehensive Spectroscopic Analysis of DB White Dwarfs [PDF]
We present a detailed analysis of 108 helium-line (DB) white dwarfs based on model atmosphere fits to high signal-to-noise optical spectroscopy. We derive a mean mass of 0.67 Mo for our sample, with a dispersion of only 0.09 Mo. White dwarfs also showing

Variational Two Fermion Wave Equations in QED: Muonium Like Systems
We consider a reformulation of QED in which covariant Green functions are used to solve for the electromagnetic field in terms of the fermion fields. The resulting modified Hamiltonian contains the photon propagator directly.

The INGRID project: Development of Solutions for Sustainable and Highly Interconnected Grids [PDF]
One of the current main challenges in green-power storage and smart grids is the lack of effective solutions for accommodating the unbalance between renewable energy sources - offering intermittent electricity supply - and a variable electricity demand ...

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.
