Analisis Kebutuhan Ruang Terbuka Hijau dalam Mengurangi Pencemaran Udara di Kawasan Metropolitan Surakarta untuk Mewujudkan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

open access: yesRekayasa Hijau: Jurnal Teknologi Ramah Lingkungan
ABSTRAK Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) di Kawasan Metropolitan Surakarta berkurang dari 35% di tahun 1980-an menjadi kurang dari 10% di tahun 2021 yang berarti luasan RTH tersebut tidak memenuhi standar menurut UU no 26 tahun 2007.

Provision of Local Public Goods with Spillovers: Implications of Green Open Space Referenda

open access: yes, 2012
Green open space is a popular amenity that contributes to the quality of life and ecological health of an area. In the last two decades green open space referenda have become a popular way of conserving land among subnational governments.

Green open spaces: climate mitigation of climate change in Indonesia

open access: yes
Introduction: The provision of microclimate for young people is an important prerequisite for outdoor thermal comfort in urban communities. The microclimate consists of four elements: air temperature, humidity, wind speed and solar radiation.

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Open-source automatic extraction of Urban Green Space: Application to assessing improvement in green space access [PDF]

open access: yes
Urban Green Space (UGS) is vital for improving the public health and sustainability of cities. Vector data on UGS such as open data from governments and OpenStreetMap are available for retrieval by interested users, but the availability of UGS data is ...

YlmG1 is localized exclusively to the chloroplast envelope membrane and is involved in preprotein translocation in Arabidopsis thaliana

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Cytosolically synthesized chloroplast preproteins are translocated across the outer and inner envelope membranes through translocons called TOC and TIC, respectively. In green algae and plants, the TIC core is composed of essential membrane proteins, Tic12, Tic20, and Tic214.

Evolutionarily divergent DUF4465 domains have a common vitamin B12‐binding function

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We show that DUF4465 family proteins, widespread across bacteria from gut microbiomes, hydrothermal vents, and soil, share a common vitamin B12‐binding function. These augmented β‐jellyroll proteins bind vitamin B12 via extended loops. Our findings establish sequence‐diverse DUF4465 proteins as a widespread class of B12‐binding proteins, highlighting ...

Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.
