This study introduces a hybrid robot that integrates mechanical assistance by musculoskeletons (i.e., soft pneumatic muscle with rigid exoskeletal extensions), neuromuscular electrical stimulation, and vibrotactile feedback in a lightweight wearable mechatronic complex applicable to the paretic ankle–foot poststroke for gait restoration. The system can

Practical Approach Towards Green Methanol as Maritime Propellant
Abstract Maritime transport plays an essential role in the EU economy and is one of the most energy-efficient modes of transport. Nevertheless, it is as well a large and growing source of greenhouse gas emissions. Consequently, the use of alternative carbon-neutral propellants in shipping must be investigated and promoted.

Soft Robotic Snake with Tunable Undulatory Gait for Efficient Underwater Locomotion
This study designs an underwater soft snake robot using 3D‐printed soft actuators, controlled by specific signals to generate sinusoidal undulation. Results show a positive correlation between speed and swing amplitude, with optimal performance at 2/3π phase offset, PLA tail, 1.2 voltage growth rate, and 6s undulation period achieving a maximum speed ...
