Adaptive Responses of Tropical Crops: A Multi‐Scale Omics Integrated Perspective
Tropical crops integrate genomic, morphological, physiological, and ecological adaptations to thrive under extreme and variable environments. This review highlights how natural selection, domestication, and breeding shape stress resilience, resource‐use strategies, and productivity in sugarcane, banana, cassava, rubber and oil palm, offering new routes

LONG-TERM COCONUT LEAF PRUNING (CLP) EFFECTS ON CBFS: COCONUT-COFFEE AGROECOSYSTEM
A long-term study on the response of ‘Laguna’ tall (LAGT) palms and coffee intercrop to coconut leaf pruning (CLP) was conducted at the PCA-Davao Research Center from 1993 to 2001 to determine the effect of coconut leaf pruning on the productivity of ...

Computational and structure‐guided arginine scanning rewires the DNA‐binding interface of APE1 to create APE1‐Evo, a hyperactive yet specific AP endonuclease. Integrated into the NAPTUNE‐V2.0 cascade, APE1‐Evo enables amplification‐free, multiplex viral RNA sensing for dengue virus and influenza A/B, highlighting a general strategy for engineering ...

Phenolic quality in grape cultivars submitted to green pruning and hormonal regulator

CLRe: A Synergistic Dual‐Engine Framework for One‐Step Retrosynthesis Prediction
CLRe uses a contrastive difficulty score to order pretrained seq2seq fine‐tuning for retrosynthesis. Reaction embeddings define the ranking score, and a cumulative easy‐to‐hard schedule expands from the easiest subset to the full training set while earlier examples remain active.

Low Participation and Risk Reduction Potential of Supplemental Crop Insurance in the United States
ABSTRACT Federally subsidized crop insurance is a cornerstone of U.S. farm risk management, yet policies with the greatest share of participation only trigger indemnities after losses exceed 15%. Supplemental insurance was introduced to cover part of this deductible, but participation remains largely unchanged.

ABSTRACT Native plants offer a variety of aesthetic (e.g., fall colour, fruit, flowers) and functional benefits (e.g., pollinator friendly, wildlife friendly, water management). How these benefits influence consumer choice and perceived value of native versus introduced plants is not well understood.
