Temporal PV‐Power of Rooftops and Facades in Urban Areas Based on Ray Tracing

In this contribution, we develop an analytical model to calculate the time‐resolved power of PV‐systems on facades, flat roofs, and pitched roofs in an urban area as a function of a full‐load hour threshold. ABSTRACT Distributed photovoltaics (PV) can significantly contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions in urban energy systems.
