ABSTRACT This paper presents the procedure to make vertical wind turbine blades using the technique of 4D printing of composites (4DPC). A Self‐Supervised Machine Learning Approach for the Estimation of Open‐Circuit Voltage Degradation in Photovoltaic Systems

Progress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, EarlyView.
This study introduces a self‐supervised machine learning approach integrating physics‐based principles to estimate open‐circuit voltage (voc$$ {v}_{oc} $$) degradation in photovoltaic systems using SCADA data. By combining clustering and regression algorithms, our method detects performance deviations without labelled datasets.

Testing VIPV Curved Modules: Methods and Challenges

Progress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, EarlyView.
This work presents procedures and equipment for characterizing curved vehicle‐integrated photovoltaic (VIPV) modules through STC I–V curve and relative angular response (RAR) measurements. Outdoor measurements are compared with indoor measurements obtained using a collimated‐light solar simulator, showing excellent agreement for STC I–V curves.
