Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, 2013
The present work reports a green route to synthesis of graphene by reduction of graphite oxide with cocos nucifera L. (coconut water) as reducing agent which is naturally available, non-toxic and environmental friendly. The graphite oxide has been prepared by oxidation of graphite with KCIO3/NaNO3/H2SO4 as reported in our earlier findings.

Green Nanocomposites: Synthesis and Characterization
Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, 2007A series of intercalated and exfoliated nanocomposites montmorillonite-ulvan was prepared. Ulvan, extracted from the green algae, is a water-soluble polysaccharide biopolymer. Depending on the drying process, air or freeze drying, ulvan were inserted in the interlayer space or adsorbed on the both sides of inorganic layers. The crystallization of water

Green Hydrogen Synthesis Methods
2021Hydrogen is considered as the cleanest fuel of the future due to its environmental friendliness. Since each of the hydrogen production methods is not always green, there has been a need to redesign processes to minimize waste, increase efficiency, and make it more environmentally friendly. This chapter discusses hydrogen generation techniques according
