Green's conjecture for general covers [PDF]

open access: yesContemporary Mathematics, AMS, Vol. 564 (2012) 211-226, 2011
We establish Green's syzygy conjecture for classes of covers of curves of higher Clifford dimension. These curves have an infinite number of minimal pencils, in particular they do not verify a well-known Brill-Noether theoretic sufficient condition that implies Green's conjecture. Secondly, we study syzygies of curves with a fixed point free involution

Targeting PRAME directly or via EZH2 inhibition overcomes retinoid resistance and represents a novel therapy for keratinocyte carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The study evaluated the function and therapeutic implications of PRAME in basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). The findings demonstrate that PRAME impairs keratinocyte differentiation pathways. Furthermore, PRAME impairs anticancer response to retinoid compounds in BCC and SCC cells.

Stability conditions, $τ$-tilting Theory and Maximal Green Sequences [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2017
Extending the notion of maximal green sequences to an abelian category, we characterize the stability functions, as defined by Rudakov, that induce a maximal green sequence in an abelian length category. Furthermore, we use $\tau$-tilting theory to give a description of the wall and chamber structure of any finite dimensional algebra.

CircCCNB1 inhibits vasculogenic mimicry by sequestering NF90 to promote miR‐15b‐5p and miR‐7‐1‐3p processing in nasopharyngeal carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CircCCNB1 expression is down‐regulated in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC); thus, less NF90 protein is bound to circCCNB1 and more binds to pri‐miRNAs, blocking their (pri‐miRNAs) binding to DGCR8 and inhibiting the processing and generation of miR‐15b‐5p/miR‐7‐1‐3p. Furthermore, decreased miR‐15b‐5p/miR‐7‐1‐3p promotes the expression of the target genes

Radial growth of subarctic tree and shrub species: relationships with climate and association with the greening of the forest–tundra ecotone of subarctic Québec, Canada

open access: yesArctic Science
Climate change has resulted in a widespread increase in primary productivity in northern regions. This “greening” can alter terrestrial ecosystems dynamics and trigger positive climate feedbacks but often exhibits spatial heterogeneity.

Remarks on lengths of maximal green sequences for quivers of type $\tilde{A}_{n,1}$ [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2015
A maximal green sequence introduced by B. Keller is a certain sequence of quiver mutations at green vertices. T. Br\"ustle, G. Dupont and M. P\'erotin showed that for an acyclic quiver, maximal green sequences are realized as maximal paths in the Hasse quiver of the poset of support tilting modules.

Adverse prognosis gene expression patterns in metastatic castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We aggregated a cohort of 1012 mCRPC tissue samples from 769 patients and investigated the association of gene expression‐based pathways with clinical outcomes. Loss of AR signaling, high proliferation, and a glycolytic phenotype were independently prognostic for poor outcomes, and an adverse transcriptional feature score incorporating these pathways ...

Patogenicidade de Beauveria bassiana ao psilídeo Diaphorina citri e compatibilidade do fungo com produtos fitossanitários Beauveria bassiana pathogenicity to Diaphorina citri and compatibility of the fungus with phytosanitary products
