Journal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres, 1999Sensitivity experiments were conducted to study the influence of several physical processes on the evolution of the Greenland ice sheet over the last 250,000 years. The experiments were carried out by means of a three‐dimensional thermodynamical model. The mass balance is modeled by a surface energy balance model.
