Asymptotic behaviour and numerical approximation of optimal eigenvalues of the Robin Laplacian [PDF]
We consider the problem of minimising the $n^{th}-$eigenvalue of the Robin Laplacian in $\mathbb{R}^{N}$. Although for $n=1,2$ and a positive boundary parameter $\alpha$ it is known that the minimisers do not depend on $\alpha$, we demonstrate ...

Selective Opposition based Grey Wolf Optimization
Abstract The use of metaheuristics is widespread for optimization in both scientific and industrial problems due to several reasons, including flexibility, simplicity, and robustness. Grey Wolf Optimizer (GWO) is one of the most recent and popular algorithms in this area.

An Improved Grey Wolf Optimizer with Multi-Strategies Coverage in Wireless Sensor Networks
For wireless sensor network (WSN) coverage problems, since the sensing range of sensor nodes is a circular area with symmetry, taking symmetry into account when deploying nodes will help simplify problem solving.

Spectral Tuning of Hyperbolic Shear Polaritons in Monoclinic Gallium Oxide via Isotopic Substitution
Spectral tuning of highly directional hyperbolic shear polaritons is realized via isotopic substitution of 16O to 18O in monoclinic β$\beta$‐phase gallium oxide. A red‐shift of almost 40 cm−1 is experimentally demonstrated with near‐field imaging, corroborated by the permittivity change extracted from far‐field experiments and density functional theory.

Stochastic nanoscale physical cues induce glioblastoma (GBM)‐associated transcriptional traits in naïve astrocytes leading to spontaneous formation of spheroids. Cells within spheroids express activated‐MMP2 and a differential gene expression pattern involving P53 and NOTCH3, providing evidence for a role for changes in brain topography, as observed in
