Droop PLL for grid-connected inverter

Using grid voltage feed-forward control, the current-loop parameters and filter inductor affect the power factor of grid-connected inverter. Based on droop phase-locked loop (PLL) a novel control strategy is proposed. The phase difference between the grid current and grid voltage is detected and is used to calculate the output frequency of PLL.

A Fundamental Study on LCLCL Filters for Grid-connected inverters

This paper studies fifth-order filters to realize reduction of filter size for grid-connected inverters. Those filters are expected to achieve better performance with smaller filter size, since they have steeper characteristics than conventional and lower-order ones. In this study, a two-stage grid-connected inverter is proposed for photovoltaic (PV) systems.
