Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Key Parameter Estimation Method for Frequency Modulation of Receiving- End Grid-Forming Converters Considering Damping Control [PDF]
[Objective] Driven by the “dual carbon” goals, the installed capacity of new energy sources has grown rapidly, and the system inertia characteristics are evolving from physical inertia to virtual inertia.

Validation Aspects for Grid-Forming Converters Based on System Characteristics and Inertia Impact
Grid-forming converters are considered a key technology for electrical grids with a high share of renewable energy. However, there is a lack of a general, robust and verifiable definition of what constitutes this behaviour. Therefore, this paper presents

Distributed Apportioning in a Power Network for providing Demand Response Services
Greater penetration of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) in power networks requires coordination strategies that allow for self-adjustment of contributions in a network of DERs, owing to variability in generation and demand.

Grid‐forming requirements based on stability assessment for 100% converter‐based Irish power system
The fault response of a 100% converter‐based system can be significantly different to that of a synchronous generator‐based system, considering the lower capacity headroom, but flexible control capability, of power electronic converters.

Smart microgrids and virtual power plants in a hierarchical control structure [PDF]
In order to achieve a coordinated integration of distributed energy resources in the electrical network, an aggregation of these resources is required. Microgrids and virtual power plants (VPPs) address this issue.

ALDOA Promotes Glycolysis and NLRP3/GSDMD Pyroptosis to Accelerate ALS Progression
ABSTRACT Objective Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is characterized by progressive motor neuron degeneration. Glycolytic dysregulation is implicated in disease progression, yet the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. This study investigates how Aldolase A (ALDOA) drives ALS progression through glycolysis‐mediated motor neuron pyroptosis.
