Gathering of Robots in a Grid with Mobile Faults [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
The gathering of two or more agents in a graph is an important problem in the area of distributed computing and has been extensively studied especially for the fault free scenario. In this paper we consider the mobile agents gathering problem in the presence of an adversarial malicious agent which by occupying an empty node might prevent honest agents ...

A method for locating fault sections of power optical communication network intelligent operation and maintenance equipment off-grid based on Dijkstra algorithm

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2023
In order to determine the mapping relationship between the off grid fault section and the fault current distribution, and find the shortest path between the off grid fault section and the fault current distribution, an off grid fault section location ...

An adaptive reclosing scheme for flexible DC grid based on residual voltage S-transformation

open access: yesScientific Reports
When a fault occurs on a line, it is necessary to quickly isolate the fault to improve the safety and reliability of the transmission system. Due to the lack of effective ability to identify the nature of faults, the traditional automatic reclosing ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Two‐Step Clustering‐Based Equivalent Modeling of Large‐Scale Wind Farms for Enhanced Primary Frequency Regulation

open access: yesWind Energy
The focus on wind power frequency regulation has largely been on individual wind farms, which presents challenges in meeting the coordinated operation needs of multiple stations within large‐scale installations.

A Novel Sub-Module-Based Line-Commutated Converter That Is Actively Resistant to Commutation Failure

open access: yesActuators
To improve the ability of line-commutated converters (LCCs) to resist commutation failure (CF) when a fault occurs on the AC side, a novel sub-module-based LCC topology actively resistant to CF is proposed in this paper.

A Method to Construct Early-Warning and Emergency Response System for Sulfur Hexafluoride Leakage in Substations

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) gas leakage in populous urban areas, once occurring, can cause death from suffocation if its concentration largely exceeds 1000ppm and oxygen concentration is low than 19 vol-%.
