Integral Operators on Sparse Grids
SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis, 2002The main result of this paper is the application of biorthogonal anisotropic tensor product wavelet to the fast evaluation of integral expression. Meanwhile, the authors introduce the sparse grid approximation spaces to smoothness of the integral kernel and compression schemes for the corresponding discretizations.

Photovoltaic-grid integrated system
2012 First International Conference on Renewable Energies and Vehicular Technology, 2012This work proposed a solution for directly energizing ac load throughout a photovoltaic solar array during the daytime by applying so-called a variable voltage tracking system (VVT). The main function of VVT is to maintain the average output chopped voltage at fixed value irrespective of solar radiation rate, in turn the chopped voltage is converted ...

Stream Integration Techniques for Grid Monitoring
2005Grids are distributed systems that provide access to computational resources in a transparent fashion. Providing information about the status of the Grid itself is called Grid monitoring. As an approach to this problem, we present the Relational Grid Monitoring Architecture (R-GMA), which tackles Grid monitoring as an information integration problem. A

Grid Integration of Renewable Energy Sources into Weak Grids
2022This dissertation investigates the grid integration of converter-based renewable energy sources (RESs) into weak grids. For this purpose, a grid-following inverter (GFLI) is chosen as the RES, and its stability is analyzed. Additionally, the thesis proposes a method for the stability enhancement of the GFLI.

Smart Grid Data Integrity Attacks
IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, 2013Real power injections at loads and generators, and real power flows on selected lines in a transmission network are monitored and transmitted over a SCADA network to the system operator. These are used in state estimation algorithms to make dispatch, re-balance and other energy management system [EMS] decisions. Coordinated cyber attacks on power meter

Grid Integration Issues with Hybrid Micro Grid System
2019 International Conference on Robotics,Electrical and Signal Processing Techniques (ICREST), 2019In order to reduce the rapidly increasing environmental problems and fossil fuels exhaustion, usage of renewable energy has become essential. Distributed generators are commonly used to utilize renewable energy and generator power. This paper is concerned about two renewables which are solar PV and wind generators and their suitable placement in the ...
