On-site photovoltaic (PV) and battery systems intend to improve buildings energy performance, however battery costs and monetary incentives are a major drawback for the introduction of these technologies into the electricity grids. This paper proposes an

Relationship between load profiles and grid parity in the residential solar energy
In the residential sector, grid parity has been reached or is close to be reached in many countries, which means that the cost of electricity from residential photovoltaic installations is equal to or less than the retail electricity price.

Inverse Design of Amorphous Materials With Targeted Properties
AMDEN is a diffusion model framework for the inverse design of amorphous materials with targeted properties. By incorporating Hamiltonian Monte Carlo refinement into the denoising process, the framework overcomes the challenge of generating thermally relaxed disordered structures.

Leaftronics: Bio‐Fractal Scaffolds From Leaf Venation for Low‐Waste Electronics
“Leaftronics” transforms naturally evolved leaf venation into quasi‐fractal scaffolds for sustainable electronics. Polymer‐infiltrated leaf skeletons can be used to fabricate ultra‐smooth, reflow‐ and thin‐film‐compatible decomposable substrates, while making the same lignocellulose networks conducting results in flexible transparent electrodes.

Research on optimal scheduling of photovoltaic cluster based on game pricing
With the promotion of China’s ”peak carbon and carbon neutrality” target, PV power generation is gradually entering the era of price parity, and cost will no longer be the main obstacle to its scale development, but grid consumption will become the main ...

AI–Guided 4D Printing of Carnivorous Plants–Inspired Microneedles for Accelerated Wound Healing
This work presents an artificial intelligence (AI)‐guided 4D‐printed microneedle platform inspired by carnivorous plants for wound healing. A thermo‐responsive shape memory polymer enables body temperature–triggered self‐coiling for autonomous wound closure.

When Cubic is Not Isotropic: Phonon–Exciton Decoupling in CuInSnS4 Single Crystals
A cubic CuInSnS4 crystal does not fully play by cubic rules. While phonons follow the average iso‐tropic lattice symmetry, the disorder‐localized excitons break away, showing strong, and reproduci‐ble polarization‐dependent emission. This work shows how intrinsic cation disorder can turn a mac‐roscopically cubic material into a source of hidden ...

This study combines full‐field tomography with diffraction mapping to quantify radial (ε002$\varepsilon _{002}$) and axial (ε100$\varepsilon _{100}$) lattice strain in wrinkled carbon‐fiber specimens for the first time. Radial microstrain gradients (−14.5 µεMPa$\varepsilon \mathrm{MPa}$−1) are found to signal damage‐prone zones ahead of failure, which ...
