Five new species of Tupiperla Froehlich, 1969 (Plecoptera: Gripopterygidae)
The stoneflies of the family Gripopterygidae have a Gondwanan distribution (Australian, Neotropical, and Andean regions) and include about 300 species in five recognized subfamilies. The subfamily Gripopteryginae is restricted to the Neotropics and the Andean regions of South America, including 15 genera and about 80 species.

Guaranyperla, A New Genus in the Gripopterygidae (Plecoptera)
Guaranyperla g.n. from Brazil is described. The genus is defined by some autapomorphies, especially of the nymphs, viz., the expanded paranota and a body covering of vesicular hairs, both unique in the family. The type species is G. guapiara sp.n.; other described species are G. beckeri sp.n. and G.

The male and the last instar larva of Chilenoperla puerilis Illies (Gripopterygidae) are redescribed from Chubut Province, Argentinean Patagonia. Wing venation previously not described, differs from other described species in the genus. The larva is separable from that of C. elongata Vera and C. puelche Vera.

Observations on the eggs of species ofDinotoperla(Plecoptera: Gripopterygidae)
Aquatic Insects, 1985Descriptions, using scanning electron microscopy, are given of the ova of seven species of Dinotoperla (D. eucumbene, D. bassae, D. brevipemis, D. fontana. D. hirsuta, D. serricauda, D. thwaitesi) from south-eastern Australia. The eggs of each species were found to be clearly distinguishable on the basis of chorionic sculpturing.

A Note on the Nymphs of the Genus Notoperla Enderlein 1909 (Plecoptera, Gripopterygidae, Leptoperlinae) [PDF]
The nymphs of the genus Notoperla End. were first described by Illies (1958) as Abranchioperla archiplatae (Abranchioperlidae) based mainly on the total absence of gills and wing cases. Two years later sexual dimorphism of the mature nymphs was described (Illies 1960) and, more recently (Illies 1963) they were assigned to the gripopterygid genus ...
